International Memberships

Through memberships in international associations for quality assurance in higher education, the Agency demonstrates compliance of its functioning with European standards and guidelines.

The agency is a full member of the following associations:

•  The European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR);
•  The European Consortium for Accreditation in Higher Education  (ECA);
•  The Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA);
• The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE);
• The European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA)

With active participation in executive committees, general assemblies and working groups of these associations the agency can regularly  monitor trends and innovations in the field of quality assurance in higher education and transfer of good practices into the Slovenian higher education area. Organization and participation at international events, consultations and conferences ensures the agency to follow the values of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), new trends, latest guidelines and contributes to strengthening  of the culture of quality.
