Zero tolerance statement towards outside pressure
The SQAA Council has adopted a Zero tolerance statement towards outside pressure on council members, employees and experts of SQAA at its 164th session on May 20th 2021.
The SQAA Council strives for zero tolerance towards any outside pressure or attempts to influence the council members, employees and domestic or foreign experts, which participate in accreditation and evaluation procedures, conducted by SQAA. Before each council session the agency checks, whether there have been any attempts to influence the council members, employees and domestic or foreign experts.
We are informing the SQAA experts, along with the applicants and other interested parties, that in order to ensure the independence of the experts and preserve the integrity of the procedures, SQAA will react, and take appropriate measures in case of any improper influence or pressure on the experts.
Therefore, we appeal to the experts, who play a crucial role in the accreditation and evaluation procedures, to be susceptible to any attempts of improper influence related to their assessment, and to immediately inform the SQAA professional staff in case of any unacceptable behaviour. The professional staff will then act in accordance with the approved internal protocol of SQAA.
Zero tolerance towards any outside pressure on the work of the council members, employees and experts of SQAA is the precondition to ensure the trust of all participants in the SQAA procedures.
