Visit to the AQU Catalunya Agency

In May, representatives of NAKVIS carried out a two-day visit to the Catalan agency for quality assurance in higher education, AQU Catalunya. The main purpose of the visit was to explore and exchange good practices in the fields of IT and digitalisation, the structure and internal organisation of the department, the management of data records and methods of data processing for analyses and reports. Discussions focused on the support mechanisms provided by the IT department in the implementation of accreditation and evaluation procedures, with emphasis on the introduction of compatible information systems in the application process, the preparation of expert group reports, and the broader optimisation of work processes of the agency.

One of the objectives of the visit was to exchange views on the integration of artificial intelligence into the work processes of both agencies, as well as to explore opportunities for future cooperation and the development of the field. The Slovenian delegation was received in the Catalan capital by the Head of the IT Department at AQU Catalunya, David Gassiot Andreu.
