NAKVIS at the ENQA Workshop on Strategic Communication in Oslo

A representative of NAKVIS attended the ENQA workshop on strategic communication in quality assurance agencies, held in Oslo on 4–5 June 2026.

The workshop brought together around 50 participants from European quality assurance agencies who discussed how to strengthen trust, adapt communication to different stakeholder groups, and move towards more proactive communication practices.

A key message throughout the discussions was that publishing information alone is not sufficient. Messages must be clear, accessible, and tailored to the needs of higher education institutions, students, policymakers, and the general public. Participants highlighted the importance of regular dialogue with stakeholders, systematic use of feedback, and combining different communication channels, such as websites, newsletters, social media, and video content, to improve understanding and engagement.

Participation in the workshop provided NAKVIS with insights into current approaches to strategic communication and further strengthened its international cooperation in the field of quality assurance.
