ENQA General Assembly in Brussels
Representatives of NAKVIS attended the General Assembly of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), held from 22 to 24 October in Brussels, Belgium.
The Director of the Agency, Dr Franci Demšar, took part in the second part of the event, contributing to a discussion on the use of artificial intelligence in the Agency’s activities. He demonstrated how generative tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and GitHub Copilot can support accreditation procedures, external evaluations, report preparation, thematic analyses, information technology and analytics, while emphasizing the importance of maintaining core values, including data protection, professionalism, and transparency.
In addition to thematic sessions focusing on key topics such as the revision of the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG), stakeholder engagement, and the use of artificial intelligence in the work of quality assurance agencies, the event also offered an opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss current issues and challenges in higher education quality.
This year’s General Assembly was particularly festive, as ENQA celebrated its 25th anniversary.
