Launch of the NAKVIS Portal – a step towards greater transparency and digital transformation

The Slovenian Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education has launched the NAKVIS Portal, a modern web application that provides comprehensive, transparent, and up-to-date access to the agency’s public records in one place. The portal represents a significant upgrade to the previous method of data publication and an important step towards greater transparency in the agency’s operations.

The establishment of the portal fulfils the legal obligation to maintain and publish public records, while substantially improving their accessibility. The portal replaces the previous practice of publishing spreadsheets on the website and enables users to easily access information on higher education institutions, study programmes, and accreditation and evaluation procedures.

An important added value of the portal is the inclusion of aggregated statistical overviews, which provide better insight into the state and development of the Slovenian higher education system as well as the agency’s activities.

The portal is also available in English, thereby enhancing its international accessibility and its role as a central reference point for both domestic and international stakeholders. With the launch of the NAKVIS Portal, the agency strengthens transparency, clarity, and accessibility of information, and continues its digital transformation in the field of higher education quality assurance.
