Meeting with the new resident of the Slovenian student union

On Wednesday, 8 April 2026, a meeting was held at NAKVIS between representatives of NAKVIS and the National Union of Students of Slovenia. NAKVIS was represented by its Director, Dr Franci Demšar, together with colleagues, while the Union was represented by its new President, Lovro Čeh Brežnik, and colleagues.

The President of the Union presented the key priorities of the mandate work programme. Particular attention was given to the use of artificial intelligence in higher education, amendments to the Higher Education Act, and the role of students in quality assurance procedures.

The meeting confirmed a shared interest in continued cooperation and regular professional dialogue.
