NAKVIS at a study visit hosted by QQI

Representatives of NAKVIS participated in a study visit hosted by QQI, Ireland’s quality assurance agency for higher education, in Dublin from 28 to 30 September 2026. The event brought together quality assurance agencies from Slovenia, Latvia, Armenia and Ireland to exchange experiences and discuss current developments in higher education quality assurance.

NAKVIS presented its current strategic priorities, including the implementation of Slovenia’s new higher education framework, the development of targeted reviews, digitalisation of procedures and internationalisation activities. Particular attention was given to NAKVIS activities related to artificial intelligence, including the use of AI tools, staff training initiatives and the development of internal guidelines for the responsible use of AI.

The programme also addressed the use of artificial intelligence in quality assurance, the European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes, micro-credentials and other current developments in the European Higher Education Area.
