NAKVIS Representatives at the ENQA Seminar on the European Dimension of QA

Two representatives of the Slovenian Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (NAKVIS) attended the ENQA Seminar on the European Dimension of Quality Assurance, held in Brussels on 10 September 2026. The seminar focused on the European dimension of quality assurance and the broader context in which quality assurance agencies operate within the European Higher Education Area.

The seminar provided an overview of key European policies, processes and stakeholders in quality assurance, with the main topics including the Bologna Process, the European Commission’s priorities concerning higher education and quality assurance, the role of key stakeholder bodies in the European Higher Education Area, and the revision of the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG). Particular attention was also given to current issues and practical aspects of quality assurance.

Participation in the seminar provided an opportunity to deepen the understanding of current European developments, exchange experience with representatives of other quality assurance agencies, and further strengthen NAKVIS’s professional cooperation within the European higher education quality assurance community.
