SMEQA workshop in Mostar: Follow-up activities
On February 5, 2026, a workshop was held at the University of Mostar campus as part of the Erasmus+ SMEQA project (Strengthening Capacities and Mechanisms for Enhancement of Quality Assurance System in Higher Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina).
The workshop participants, including representatives of ministries and quality assurance agencies from Bosnia and Herzegovina (HEA) and Slovenia (NAKVIS), discussed the policy and regulatory frameworks for follow-ups, both at the level of ESG standards and implementation in individual countries, the methodologies of monitoring and supervising action plans, and success factors.
NAKVIS representatives presented the agency’s procedures within follow-up activities and examples of good practices and insights within these processes.
The event was enriched by practical workshops focused on discussing: adapting action plans, ensuring the effective implementation of recommendations, and monitoring them at partner institutions.
The event served as an important platform for the exchange of experiences and good practices in the field of follow-up activities and for strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions, ministries, and quality agencies.
