SMEQA workshop in Sarajevo: Pilot procedures of internal evaluations and expert’s trainings
On 29 and 30 September 2026, a workshop was held at the Rector’s Office of the University of Sarajevo as part of the Erasmus+ SMEQA project (Strengthening Capacities and Mechanisms for Enhancement of Quality Assurance System in Higher Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina).
The workshop participants, who included representatives from ministries, universities and higher education quality assurance agencies from Bosnia and Herzegovina (HEA), Slovenia (NAKVIS) and Croatia (AZVO), discussed the pilot internal evaluation projects carried out in BiH and the criteria for the selection and appointment of experts from a comparative perspective involving the agencies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and Croatia.
Representatives from NAKVIS presented the criteria for the selection and appointment of experts in the agency’s procedures and put forward proposals regarding the training of experts in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The event served as an important platform for exchanging experiences and good practices in the field of quality assurance for experts in agency registers, and for strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions, ministries and quality assurance agencies.
